Memorial day weekend, graduating people, and no rest for the wicked.

.

Welp. Matt's gone home, as of last night, and I feel a little bit odd about that. My parents and I met him in Provo on Friday for a lunch date and then he and I had dinner with his parents and drove to Cedar for the weekend. Holy, that was only four days?? Weird. Time's weird.
So. Anyway, my point was, now that I don't have a handsome friend waking up early so I'm not the only human up in this house, I'm losing marbles and therefore decided it's an opportune moment to blog and catch up on life.
(For the record, there are tons of tourist stories again this year, but they seem like borderline repeats from last year so I haven't taken the time to sufficiently bore you. However, I still feel guilty about not blogging as obsessively as I did last year. Which probably means we should hold an intervention and some serious therapy sessions for my bloggeritis... I'm voting retail therapy. And refreshments after intervention. Just tossing out some ideas... ;P )

Alrighty. So Thursday Erin graduated.
Sooo weird? I know. I'm pretty sure we both need to be like three year olds still or something, because this grown up business happened WAY too fast! She looked so cute though! I learned that graduation attendance is basically just out of respect for your one student you're supporting. All the cliche quotes, inside jokes, and school cheers mean nothing to the audience comparatively with the graduating class and their sentimental celebration. Holy. Cow. But! I am super proud of Erin Marty, and I'm excited to see where life goes next for her. :) Snow's gonna rock, Er!! (Why, no, I am not hugely biased in this topic. Where would you get that idea?)
Also, I apologize in advance for the lack of awesome photography skill. I have no idea why I wasn't thinking, "Oh, raise the flash on these, lovey" for the majority of the pictures... but obviously I wasn't. Just look at the happiness and joy behind the pictures rather than the slaughter of taking skills... :p

I couldn't resist posting this one. Originally I was just
trying to get a picture of Mrs. Esplin. Which sounds
creepy. We just love her, ok? But then when I was
uploading pictures, I realized that someone is digging
for some serious treasures and it may or may not have
totally cracked me up. I'm mature, I know.

Also, these two were cracking me up with what they were
taking pictures of. EVERYTHING but graduation.

This, my friends, is Joey Decker. The man, the myth, the
legend. :) He's also the cell phone police and
stinkin adorable.

Cute Erin Marty!!

Becky Bronson was in our home ward and she gave Er
the cutest big hug ever. (But not all the other kids! See?
We always knew Erin was special. ;) )

Er's friend Disha

Check out the school spirit! :p Go twinners!

I just thought this kid was hilarious. And I was jealous
that he repelled in their school assemblies.

Where's Waldo? :p

'Poppa Heap'

Cayley, Erin's future roommie!

Please ignore that I look like a retard. I was mid obnoxious
smile. On the bright side, my sisters are gorgeous!

Robert, Erin and Ronald.

Courtney G again!

I couldn't resist this one.

Jacoy and Er. :)

It's so weird to think that Erin's graduated! Weird weird weird. But exciting! :D

Next on the catch up with pictures agenda, Memorial day. I had to work that morning, but my boss is pretty much the coolest guy ever and let me go home early so I still got to brand and vaccinate and join all sorts of fun. Matt jumped right in ("even when I wasn't there!" as everyone informed me) and got poop all over his shoes, and gave lots of shots, and even faced off a bull on the four wheeler! I think that means he passes at least one level of the test.

I'm loving the back shots lately. In case you haven't noticed.
But this is a super cute one of B. In my opinion. :p

Cutesy mama

Matt was practically a pro at giving shots
by the end of the day! :)

Cam and mom pushing the calves through!

Tip of survival #32084. Don't give crazies drugs and needles. :p

Lee and Casey :)

My dad was threatening Matt and Jay that they'd
have to help castrate a calf "the old fashioned way".
Luckily he had some mercy, and I think they escaped.

Please note the look of sheer mischief on Uncle Lloyd's face. :)

My dad's sorta a cutie.

Love this one. :)

We're great helpers...

Obviously.

Oh my word. Seeing this cute girl was a surprise!
(Well, for me at least.) But so much fun! Cutest little family. :)

Oh, Uncle Lloyd. :p

:)
Matt and I went for a horse ride after, and I'm a total worrier wimp, and so I wouldn't let him do anything too crazy, because if anything went wrong we'd pretty much just both die or something equally melodramatic. He's such a guy though, and so he was totally egging me on and so we may or may not have done some trot/bounce/fast stuff. Not galloping though, dad, definitely not galloping. We got to drive over Cedar Mountain this trip too, and it's GORGEOUS right now! So green and beautiful!
But, anywho. There's the short of it... I've gotta get ready and go talk to an instructor from Dixie's Pharmacy Tech program. Wish me lots of luck!! (I probably need it!)
