Ya... not really sure what that has to do with anythin.
OH yeah. It's part of the song that I need to memorize by Thursday. With actions. Grand. Also, I had to miss fourth hour to go to CV to practice this very song with their mads... and then run back speedy quick to teach a bunch of snotty fourth graders. :p (Ok so the snotty part was a wee bit of an exaggeration. They just didn't listen a whole lot... except for when Spencer, aka 'grape man' came in and did a dramatic 'struuuumm'! Vegetables are greaaaat... singing act thing.) Crazy chaotic beautiful infuriating confusing upsetting glorious miraculous fast paced life.
Wednesday- girls movie party/ Erin my favorite 16 year old (almost) sister's birthday
Thursday- Combined Cedar City Madrigals concert at the Heritage Center, 6:30 I believe. It's gonna be sweet... just sayin. You should all show up. :)
Friday- PIUTE HIGH'S GRADUATION! I kinda can't believe it. Anyway, I'm going to that one for sure!
Saturday... who knows. Yet.
And I still don't know my Subway Schedule for this week.
STRESS!
(scream it at the top of your lungs a few times. Swish it around in your mouth... You'll feel better. Promise.)

Dear Weather,
I approve slightly more so than that stunt you pulled earlier this week.
Rain=good. Snow= not so good. :) Got it?
I'm glad. :p
Anyway, so today was supposed to be senior sluff day. And then I got all these texts saying that it's next week instead because of the weather. So I had to go to school after all. Stinkin 90% attendance policy. Just sayin.

This post
goes out to the prying, music stealing, attempted hand holding, mean teasing males of America. And other humanized nations.
Let me make myself very clear. In fact, by doing this I'm granting you a large favor men. So listen up.
You're driving us all nuts. If you ask what's wrong and we say nothing, ask again. Sometimes we want you to prove you really care and wanna know. However, when we've said, don't worry about it, nothing, I'm fine, it's sort of none of your business, etc... we pretty much want you to just hush up and walk the other direction.
A prime example of what not to do would be, eh, I don't know... sending "You're so rude for not spilling your life story to me- my testosterone levels are ridiculously high for my age but I control it and be nice anyway, blah blah blah blah..." (Yes, perhaps you're 'nice', sir. But you're a total handsy action oriented fellow. So the previous statement holds no significance in my eyes.) Just sayin. Those sorts of texts usually don't work.
Also when someone looks like they're about as cuddly as a porcupine... don't press your luck with an unwanted hug. A- it just messed up my hair. B- ew. and C- You're gettin a little over eager and although the first "Are you ok" was considerate of you, the following MILLION gestures were a wee bit superfluous.
-Now- :)
On the bright side, State Choir was actually sort of fun. We went ice skating... (Wait. I suddenly decided I can't remember if I already rambled about this. If I have just pretend you care, and skip over it. :p)
Ice skating. Oh yes.
There were three kind of people. The super macho show off type, the 'I just broke every bone in my body because I have no balance with this madness' kind, and the type that probably could have been fine by themselves but clung to someone else -usually the show off macho ones- in order to get some much needed previously neglected human affection. Even if it was fake affection.
One boy looked like he was about to eat a baby, he was so angry from falling a bajillion times. A chaperon lady fell and got a concussion, one girl face planted, and another girl was glued to my arm and nearly killed me a lot of times. :p And then I skated mostly alone... until Mr. Clever boy discovered that the music playing at the rink was most opportune and fortunate for him so he'd ask a girl to 'dance'. Which basically entailed holding hands and skating during the song. Smooth huh? Haha, I should've thought of that one. ;) And thus we have the quote: "Woah! I held five hands in one night! I'm a playah!!" "It was ice skating. It doesn't count." :p
So I just found out today that we pretty much stunk at state. We got a 2, and two 1-'s. Ha. So much for quality. But hey, we've got quantity and I figure as long as you have one of the q's you're good to go. :)
So. Now that I've sort of ended on a nicer sounding note... I'm gonna go hunt down some prozac. :)
Have a nice Tuesday.
Even though it snowed.

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
It's the most wonderful time... of the year.
(Yeah, I have a Christmas song stuck in my head. But that's not the point.)
My baby sister is now 8 years old.
... Do you know what this means???
It means its super special and she got a super adorably beautiful white baptism dress and she'll be 'the newest member of the church'...(I remember feeling ridiculously cool when one of the members of the Circleville bishopric said that about me. :p)
Bri is, and forever will be, our "mama queen". (Yes sisters, that means we will forever be the baby queens. Haha, what a cute little diva.)
And now, in all of my Subway stinking glory, I think I'll go join the wild play-dough party in the kitchen.
Happy Birthday baby sister! I love you lots!

Seminary's breath of fresh air

"There is a beautiful story of a man, and a fire. This man lived on his own plot of land, with his own little farm. He spent hours working on his land, and it gave him great pleasure to make things with his own two hands. He had spent the past week completing a new hen house, and was proud of his efforts. It wasn't anything fancy- but it was his hard work. One night the man awoke with the realization that there was a fire outside his house. To his dismay, the newly built chicken coop was engulfed in flames, but with relief he noticed that all the chickens seemed to have made it out of the large door he created for them. When the fire was extinguished and the coop was beyond repair the man ventured in to survey the full extent of the damage. It was devastating. While looking over the beams he stumbled on something that appeared to be a single, dead chicken. In his frustration the man kicked the animal, muttering 'stupid bird,' but what he saw next would amaze him. When the body was kicked there was a flurry of motion. Tears brimmed in the man's eyes when he noticed a tiny cluster of badly singed, but very much alive baby chicks. The mother hen had gathered them beneath her when she realized they wouldn't make it out in time. She had saved her babies lives. ..."
3 Nephi 10:4-6 "... I have gathered you as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings..."
Alma 34:16 "And thus mercy can satisfy the demands of justice, and encircles them in the arms of safety, while he that exercises no faith unto repentance is exposed to the whole law of the demands of justice..."

Christ extends his arms of mercy unto us, he shields us from the pain and danger we find ourselves in today's world. We just have to remember to do our part of the work.
He truly is our beautiful savior, and I'm so thankful for the knowledge we have of his love. :)
Have a wonderful Tuesday :)

Dear May.
Your arrival means Summer is close by.
However this whole end of level testing isn't making me very happy.
Perhaps you could fix that.
Love Me. The disgruntled and stressed senior.
Heaven help us. :p

Dear soul, here's some music to feed on.
Music is one of the most incredible things ever, isn't it? Especially when it's GOOD music! I love instrumental music. Like this, or this. Or even this!
And I love choir songs (like this one, this one, and this one :) And this too.), mostly since this year I did choir. I think it's even more appreciated once you've taken part in creating the music.
Or sometimes some crazy music is much appreciated. Like Crazy rock stuff (blind cougar and such. ;p)
Also. only 27 more days til graduation. Insanely crazy yes? Yes.
Have a marvelous Saturday everyone- 'cause it's a special day. Go get ready for Sunday.
ALSO the AP English final is Thursday. My stomach has now caught onto that news and is feeling sickly. Ha.
